Since 1994, the
glorious stallion of Haras du Quesnay, Highest Honor,
belongs every year, to the five best french sires. In 2000, he
reaches the top, befor Sadler's Wells and Grand Lodge
(father of Sinndar), thanks to his duo winners in
group I, Rêve d'Oscar (Prix Saint-Alary) et Sagacity
(Critérium de Saint-Cloud). .
Highest Honor
is neighbour of Anabaa at the stud of family Head in
Normandy. This latest one is on the top of fathers of 2-years
old, from his first crop on, and as he also active in the
South Hemisphere, where his results are also excellent.
Highest Honor's fee is at 100'000 FF and Anabaa's at
150'000 FF, both to be paid at october the first. A nice
opportunity for two of the best french sires on the market.
Everything is ok
for the french breeding so far at the begining og this saeson,
thanks to Anabaa Blue (Anabaa, Prix de Noailles)
and Maille Pistol (Pistolet Bleu, Prix Greffulhe),
his two best ambassadors of the younger generation. It's
interesting to observe how both of them were bought as
yearlings at Deauville Sales of "Agence Française", in 1999,
650'000 FF for Anabaa Blue and 165'000 FF for Maille
Pistol.
Very good reasons to be optimistic for the french breeding and
its capacities, specially as economically attractive market,
at very affordable prices.
